Get to Know Me

Carmen Adame’s interest in real estate began early. When she moved to San Diego as a young child, she was impressed by San Diego’s architecture. She vividly remembers seeing the Balboa Park buildings and thinking they were unique and beautiful. This motivated her to pursue a career in real estate.
 
Carmen has served her community as a real estate agent since obtaining her license in 2007. From guiding young professionals through the process of purchasing their first home to helping people transition to a home capable of holding their next chapter’s memories, Carmen is passionate about finding the perfect fit for her clients.
 
A client once told Carmen, “House hunting with you is fun because you make it feel like an adventure. We’ve seen eight houses, but because you helped me envision ourselves in each one, I feel clear about which one will work for us.” Carmen replied, “It’s good to be selective and thoughtful before you decide which home to pursue; this will be your refuge and home base. Let’s keep looking for that perfect house.”
 
Having moved to the United States from Mexico at age 8, Carmen is a native Spanish speaker and loves being able to help clients from all backgrounds achieve their real estate goals. Being bilingual is a valuable skill in Southern California’s multicultural market. She has been able to help with cross-border real estate transactions and can communicate effectively when the client or the opposite party prefers to negotiate in Spanish.
 
As a first-generation college student, Carmen graduated with a bachelor’s degree in public administration from San Diego State University. One of Carmen’s proudest accomplishments includes inspiring her three children to pursue their undergraduate careers at her alma mater. Another highlight is the ability to help her children achieve the dream of homeownership, both as an agent and a mentor. In her free time, Carmen enjoys cycling, reading, and spending time with her pups Lola, Cardi, and Ayla.
